This Privacy Policy explains how MultiMessenger, provided by Wuxxu s.r.o. (Poděbradská 777/9, Vysočany, 190 00 Praha, Czech Republic), collects, uses, and safeguards your information. Your privacy is our priority: MultiMessenger is built so that your chats never pass through our servers.
The Short Version
- Your messages, credentials and cookies stay on your device. We never see, store, or transmit them.
- You sign in directly with each messaging service (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, …) inside an isolated web view.
- We collect only minimal, anonymous usage data needed to keep the app working and improve it.
- We never sell your data.
Information We Do Not Collect
MultiMessenger acts as a secure container for the web versions of your messaging services (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, …). We do not collect, read, store or process:
- The content of your messages or media (photos, videos, voice messages)
- Your contacts
- Your credentials, passwords or authentication tokens
- Cookies or session data of your accounts (these are stored locally, isolated per account)
Information We Collect
Anonymous usage data
To improve MultiMessenger, we collect anonymized diagnostic and usage information, such as app version, operating system version, crash reports, and aggregate feature usage (e.g. how many accounts are configured — never which ones). This data cannot be used to identify you.
Purchase information
Purchases are processed by the Microsoft Store. We receive confirmation of your purchase (license status) but never your payment card details.
Support communication
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to share (e.g. your message and email address) and use it solely to resolve your request.
Camera & Microphone
MultiMessenger requests camera and microphone access only so that a messaging service's own web page can use them for calls and voice messages (for example, a WhatsApp or Telegram call). This access is granted only after you approve the Windows permission prompt and, where applicable, the service's own in-page permission request.
MultiMessenger itself does not record, store, or transmit any audio or video. The call or voice message is handled entirely by the messaging service inside its own isolated session, exactly as it would be in a browser tab. You can review or revoke camera and microphone access at any time in Windows Settings → Privacy & security.
AI Features
If you choose to use the optional AI assistant (e.g. reply suggestions, summaries or translations), the text you explicitly submit is processed by a third-party AI provider for the sole purpose of generating the result. It is not used to train models and is not stored by us. AI features are opt-in and can be disabled at any time.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the app (e.g. crash reporting, payment confirmation via Microsoft Store), and only the minimum required. All providers are bound by data-processing agreements.
Data Security
Account sessions are isolated from each other and stored locally using the operating system's security mechanisms. Communication between your device and each messaging service is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) — MultiMessenger does not sit in the middle.
Your Rights
Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you (which is minimal). Since your message data never reaches us, deleting the app removes all locally stored data. For any request, contact us via the Support page.
Children's Privacy
MultiMessenger is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and material changes will be announced in the app.
